No fine line
BOTOX® treatments are short and gentle and can only remedy areas that are affected by muscle contraction. BOTOX® works well for areas such as glabellar folds (between the eyebrows), “crow’s feet” (by the side of the eyes), “marionette lines” (by the sides of the mouth), and forehead wrinkles. It can also be used to improve fine and deeper lines above the upper lip, to improve the “downward smile” (the downward drooping of the corners of the mouth that occurs with aging), to improve the smile (excessive gum) and to improve the creases and folds in the neck.
It’s your time!
The BOTOX® procedure lasts only about ten minutes and consists of a few tiny injections.
No local anesthetic or sedative is required, you can go about your usual activities immediately after your treatment. No downtime is required, and the effects appear within days.
Almost 3.3 million procedures were performed in 2005 alone – a 16% increase over 2004.
Note: The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) ranked BOTOX® Cosmetic as the most popular physician-administered aesthetic procedure in the United States for the fourth year in a row (surgical and nonsurgical combined).
What’s more, the ASAPS surveys ranked BOTOX® Cosmetic as one of the low-entry-cost facial aesthetic procedures in the United States.
