L-polylactic acid (e.g. Sculptra)

What is Sculptra?

Derived from fruit acids, Sculptra is a biocompatible and biodegradable injectable material known as L -polylactic acid that stimulates the natural production of collagen acid.  Sculptra provides different treatment areas.  This allows you to redefine your face giving it its natural contours and smoothing out wrinkles, folds and furrows.  In particular, we use Sculptra to increase the volume of depressed areas, including the correction of skin depressions temples, cheeks, nasolabial folds , marionette lines and chin.

The number of treatment sessions required is determined with you at our first meeting.  Usually Sculptra is injected in 3 treatment sessions over a period of 3 to 4 months ( at intervals of 4 to 6 weeks ).  During this period, wrinkles and deep folds decrease gradually as the skin becomes firmer with your own collagen production.

We advise you to vigorously massage the treated areas for 5 minutes, 5 times a day for 5 days after each treatment to ensure uniform distribution of the product and provide natural-looking results . Since the production of new collagen is gradual, each treatment session will give results more significant .
